Understand Your Breast Cancer Risk…
Identifying your risk for breast cancer may help you and your physician make the right decision for your annual screening plan.
Do you or a family member have a history of any of the following?
*Breast Cancer diagnosed at age 50 or younger?
*Ovarian Cancer at any age?
*Male breast cancer?
*Two or more relatives with breast cancer, one under age 50?
*Three or more relatives with breast cancer at any age?
*A previously identified BRCA mutation in the family?
*Eastern European descent with at least one relative with breast or ovarian cancer?
*A diagnosis of high breast density as seen by mammogram?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, talk to your healthcare provider about adding breast MRI in conjunction to your mammography screening.
